2. Registration & Rostering:
○ All players must register via links on www.pahl.org PRIOR to the start of their first
game played. Any player not registered is ineligible to participate. This link is used for
rostering and payments.
○ All players must be registered by January 31 st , no players will be added to rosters past
the deadline without league director approval.
○ Payment Instructions:
■ Payment via Day Smart Online (players have the ability to pay towards the
team fee individually or have one player pay the full fee).
■ Full team payment must be completed by January 31st, 2025.
■ If the team fee is not fulfilled by the deadline, all games played after the
deadline by the team in question will be forfeited until payment is fulfilled.
○ Team Rosters: There is no minimum number of players for your roster. League
Directors will help with free agents finding teams, but there is no obligation that a
captain must take a player if they are at a number they desire. Rosters will be locked
by January 31st and teams may never have more than 22 active players on their roster
at any given time.
○ Sub Goalies: Captains are responsible for finding a sub goalie – League Director can
help with sufficient notice. Sub Goalies must be approved by league director for any
and all elimination playoff games. Substitute goalies must be registered at your team’s
level or below.
○ Jerseys: If two teams in the same division have the same or similar color jerseys the
home team will choose which jersey they will wear.
○ Determination of Skill Level: Should any captain feel that a player has been incorrectly
placed in a league, a formal complaint via email must be submitted to the League
Director. Complaints will be vetted for validity.
○ League Director and Rink Management will determine the placement of all players and
have the authority, at any time, to remove a player from a division should they feel the
player does not belong.
3. Extra Rules:
○ 50% game minimum for Playoffs – Every player must have played in a minimum of 50%
of games to be eligible for playoffs. Should a question arise about a player’s status, the
team Captain should contact the League Director prior to the start of playoffs. In a
situation where there is an odd number of regular season games, the minimum will
round down to the nearest whole number for the game requirement.
○ Playoff exceptions: If a player is playoff eligible due to meeting the required games
played minimum for two consecutive seasons, the individual will be granted a one
season playoff exception should they not make the 50% rule required for PAHL playoff
eligibility. A player's exception will reset after use of their exception or should they not
qualify for playoffs for two consecutive seasons. Please note this rule only applies for
one specific team and does not account for multiple teams you may play with.
○ Roster Check-In: Every player is required to check-in with photo ID upon game arrival
for regular season and playoff games. Check-in will be located at front desk of the
facility with support staff member.
Playoffs will go as follows:
● 4-team division – Top 2 teams will play for the Championship.
● 5-team & larger divisions – Top four teams will qualify and play semi-finals
and finals.
4. Ejections:
○ Any player ejected from a game must:
■ LEAVE THE ICE IMMEDIATELY AND GO DIRECTLY TO LOCKER ROOM.
■ LEAVE THE RINK.
■ SUSPENSIONS WILL BE COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL WITH FURTHER
DETAILS.
5. Forfeits
○ Should a team require to forfeit due to an inadequate roster, we ask that you please notify
the league in a timely manner so to not inconvenience your opponent/allow the opponent
to make alternate plans for ice slot use.
○ Any breach of policy will subject your team to forfeit. This includes but is not limited to:
illegal players, outstanding balance after deadline, or failure to show Photo ID at Check-in.
○ Forfeits will not be made up, make up games are offered exclusively if the rink is unable to
fulfill a game slot.
○ Any team that forfeits more than once in a season/does not notify the league of such
forfeits may be subject to removal the following season.
○ In the event of a forfeit, both teams are still able to use the ice for practice or scrimmage as
the ice time is paid for and the game will not be rescheduled.

○ Beer will be rink provided for the last game of the playoffs (adult participation
trophies).
○ Gift card to a local bar for the championship winners.
