Pictures!!! (Videos coming soon)

Below are the pictures from the Last Ironclad of 2022! I hope everyone had as good of a time as we did! Thank you all for helping us say goodbye to 2022 and welcome in 2023!

We hope to get the video done and uploaded soon!

Sponsor a player in need.

We all know how expensive hockey can be. We want to lend a hand and help someone that can’t afford to play, can’t afford for their kid to play, or in desperate need of new(er) equipment to play safely. This is something we are going to try out. If it works, great. if not, we will donate the money we collect to a charity.

Please try to be there by 5:45 for check-in if possible. The sharpener will be available. The cost is $10. If you need sharpened skates, please try to be there by 6 pm. I will only sharpen skates until 6:30 pm, first come, first serve.

Since we are running this with only three teams, all teams should remain on the bench. Your team can change benches if you like, but it is not required. We recommend at least one person from each team bring a phone to the bench to view the schedule and share the updated standings as time progresses. Viewing the standings is easiest in desktop mode, but it is possible to see them in mobile mode.

There will be 5 minutes of warm-ups and 45 seconds between games. If both teams are ready, the puck will be dropped before the 45-second mark.

Each team will get six 10-minute games. If we have a tie the top two teams will face off against each other for one final 10-minute game..

What to expect?

Game Rules

1) 4v4 hockey - We will be running this event 4v4.

2) The clock will be continuous.

3) Wins are worth 2 points, Ties are worth 1 point, Losses are worth nothing. Penalties are minus 1 point

5) Red Line Offsides(Sorry Cherry Pickers)

6) Penalties will be 60 seconds in the box. Two penalties in 1 game, the player will sit out the rest of the game in the box. Leaving their team 1 player short for the duration of that game. We extended the maximum number of penalties for the day to five.

7) In the event of a tie in we will determine the winner by Goals for, fewer goals against, fewer penalties.

Games are done what now?

We will take individual team pictures starting with the winners, second place, and the “Maybe next time” team. Followed by a group shot of everyone!

Hotdogs and beer on us in the parking lot! It’s such a nice day; why not? We will supply chips as well. Anything you would like to bring feel free!
