Date - July 14, 2023

Schedule -

7 pm Meetup/Adults Receive Loaner Jersey and Socks

8 pm Warmups

8:15 pm Game Start

Location - Polar Ice Wake Forest

Rink - Forest

Locker room’s - 5 and 7

Game Play

Jerseys -

Jerseys will be handed out one hour prior to warmup start time

Ice time -

90 minutes of total ice (depending on turnout, we may expand)

15 minutes of Warm-ups / Free time for parents (and or family/friends) can just spend some time on the ice doing whatever it is they want to do. Please be sure not to shoot at any goalie that is not looking at you during this time.

20-minute periods

2-minute intermissions

The remaining time will be for awards, and team pictures (we tend to expect some delays that tend to happen with these kinds of events. If there is time left after everything, feel free to use the “Free” time AFTER our ending ceremony is complete)

Skaters on the ice -

Five kids vs three adults

Goalies -

The goalie for the kid’s team will be an adult goalie, and barring any unforeseen issues, a kid will face shots from the kids.

Penalties -

In the event a penalty is called on an adult it will result in one less player on the ice; the second penalty will result in the same. This means if the adults cannot play a clean game, only one of you could be on the ice for the penalty’s length.

For the kids, the penalty rules remain normal.

Pictures and Video -

We will have a photographer and an on-ice videographer for this event, (If you are a photographer and you want to save us some money and volunteer your services it will be greatly appreciated but not expected). We will also release the entire LiveBarn footage. (We can now also offer player-specific LiveBarn video for a fee)

Bench Coaches - We will recruit some parent players from our adult league teams to take care of the kid’s bench so you can enjoy the game whether you are on the ice or a spectator!
